Charles Ray came into our rescue program on August 7, 2015. Charles Ray came as an owner surrender. Charles Ray is a beautiful, Brown/White, Donkey, Jack. Charles Ray is estimated to be 20 years of age. Charles Ray's feet were in horrendous condition when he arrived. It clearly has been years since he received any type of hoof care. Charles Ray needed surgery to correct his contracted front leg/hoof, as it was curled under and he was walking on the outside hoof wall. Charles Ray received surgery on his deep digital flexor tenotomy, as well as, was gelded. He is currently in a shoe with a toe extension to stretch that tendon and keep it from contracting. The shoe is only temporary. The results are amazing and he is doing wonderful. Charles Ray is super sweet and loves attention. He feels great and now enjoys his day relaxing and being able to lay down. Charles Ray is a bit more on the lazy side, but he hasn't been able to move about as freely as he can now. Charles Ray will need a home where he will receive routine hoof care. It will take quite a few trims before his hooves will be normal again. He is comfortable and sound and with every trim he will continue to improve. Charles Ray is halter broke and broke to lead. Charles Ray has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, castration, deworming and hoof maintenance. Charles Ray has been adopted to a wonderful family in Goldsby, Oklahoma. Charles Ray is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotton in his forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this sweet boy found the forever, loving family that he deserves, where he will be showered with attention.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
